09 NOV 2026 · PROVIDER RESEARCH UPDATE

Named model options and clearer boundaries

Expanded the directory to 17 provider options and model configurations across GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenAI, Databricks, two smaller Australian providers and the government-only GovAI brokerage.

Added documented Australian processing options for Gemini 3.5 Flash and Flash-Lite in Sydney; DeepSeek V3.2 and Amazon Nova Lite on Bedrock in Sydney; and three Azure Standard configurations in Australia East. Added Databricks GPT-OSS 20B and Gemma 3 12B in Sydney with the Australia–New Zealand Geo boundary visible.

OpenAI’s Australian API storage option is explicitly classified as storage without Australian inference. Smaller-provider processing statements are labelled as provider claims. Databricks’ Australia–New Zealand Geo does not qualify for an Australia-only processing filter.

Still under review

  1. Numeric prices and billing currency for every region/model combination.
  2. Current retirement dates, quotas and subscription-level availability.
  3. Provider-specific retention exceptions, subprocessors, failover and legal operators.
  4. Government Brokerage’s full model-to-region routing guide and current pilot terms.
  5. Independent request-level tests for regional API configurations.
